Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. The city of Tyre will come with a gift, people of wealth will seek your favor. All glorious is the princess within her chamber; her gown is interwoven with gold. In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her— those brought to be with her. Led in with joy and gladness, they enter the palace of the king. (Psalm 45:11-15 NIV)
Being a Princess doesn’t mean you just have to sit back and wait for that Knight and shining armor to come. It doesn’t mean “just stay there and let your servants do the rest.” Being a Princess is not about wearing gowns and crowns or wearing fine jewelries and gold. All of these things are just facade.
Because being a Princess is a choice of heart. You choose to love even when you’re hurting. You choose to fight even when you’re at the losing end. You choose to serve others more than letting others serve you. You choose to stand when everyone’s afraid to make a stand. You choose to wait for the right time and make the most of your time serving your King. You are clothe with humility, compassion, quiet and gentle spirit. You wear an everlasting crown of faith, love and joy. And you possess a timeless and captivating beauty that only Your Father can give.
So Being a Princess cannot be seen on the outside rather it is seen from the inside out. It is who you really are! even when you don’t see it in yourself. And even when it is hard to believe. It is YOU making a DIFFERENCE even when everyone’s conforming to the pattern of this world.
And as for me, I’m not YET one, but My King (God) is patiently teaching me how to be.
